Shipibo Healing Art
Personal
Individual plant treatment

Every healing journey is unique. Your treatment is planned individually with Maestro Inin Meni — with a selection of master plants that is tailored exactly to you.

Profound
Deep healing methods

Shipibo healing methods go far beyond ceremonies: ONI, ICAROS, plant baths, bone healing, vomitivo and more — a finely tuned, powerful way back to your balance.

ACCOMPANIEd
Support & integration

You'll be supported — from the very first moment. Guidance, integration groups and personal conversations create a safe space for your inner process.

Healing at the root
It is often unconscious traumas that unbalance body, mind and soul. The precise and lovingly guided healing work of the Maestros Curanderos helps you to recognize the causes and connections — and to transform them in love so you can find your inner, divine order.
Cleansing, renewing & protecting
In Shipibo healing art, purification, renewal (reorganization) and protection are the 3 most important aspects of a healing process. The master plants of the Amazon purify, renew and protect the entire blood system, the nervous system and the tissue down to the bones.
Body & mind
In Shipibo healing, the maestros curanderos work with the physical (bodily), mental and emotional powers of the master plants. This holistic cooperation also enables deep cleansing and transformation processes on a spiritual and emotional level, which expands awareness of yourself and your life.
Spiritual awakening
Every healing path is also a great learning path — a Shipibo treatment is also always about awakening and strengthening hidden gifts and potentials within you. In this way, you yourself become the guardian of ancient knowledge that is carried into the world through you and your work.
Individually planned
Your healing journey starts before you arrive, with a personal conversation. Together, we will look at what topics, complaints or intentions you bring with you. On this basis, your treatment will be carefully coordinated.
Management, Support & Integration
Your healing treatment with the master plants is guided and accompanied by our maestro Curandero Inin Meni throughout your stay, but also beyond. Melanie & Zoe, as well as other Maestros Curanderos from the medicine family, are also available 24/7 if you need help. There are daily integration circles that support you in your process and give you deep insights into the work of the Shipibo healing culture.
Community
The special thing about Shipibo healing work is that there are always several masters working together. Healing is seen as part of the community — no one is alone but is always supported and accompanied by a large family.
The Shipibo treatment in all its diversity
Master plant treatment

The special feature of Shipibo healing is the deep collaboration with the plant beings themselves.

A master plant treatment gives you deep insights into the plant world, and very personal experiences in how our animated nature wants to show itself to you in its presence and work.

Practical information:
Each master plant treatment takes several weeks, is led and accompanied by Maestro Curandero Inin Meni, with one or more carefully selected master plants that are precisely tailored to your needs: physical/psychological complaints, learning intentions, spiritual intentions.

Working with the great powers of master plants from the Amazon initiates deep purification, transformation and renewal processes on a physical, mental and spiritual level.

Clear start & conclusion: "dieta"
Every master plant treatment has a clear start as well as a clear conclusion: This period is called “dieta” by the Shipibo Curanderos.

Master Plant Rules

In order for the great plant powers and the work of Maestros Curanderos to work optimally, there are very specific rules, which must be followed in the period of a "dieta" as well as in a period of 6 months after.

The rules of a "dieta" relate primarily to eating, which is why every person, during the treatment, receives meals tailored to their personal diet.

The background to the rules of working with plant powers will be explained to you in detail in our introductory talk as well as in the medicinal village.

Overview of a few eating rules of a master plant treatment (dieta):

- No oil
- No alcohol
- No chili
- No pork

6 months post-dieta (post-treatment time)
The “post-dieta” time of 6 months is just as important as the period in the medicinal village itself. The special thing about Shipibo healing treatment is that the plant powers continue to work and work well beyond the period of your treatment in the medical village.

No pork for 6 months, is the plant rule of your post-dieta.

Respectful treatment of plant forces

A master plant treatment is a deep dedication to plant powers and requires a very respectful approach to plant rules. It is a contract that you enter into with the plant beings, the Shipibo Maestros Curanderos and with yourself.”

ONI ceremonies

The gateway to the spiritual world
ONI is the traditional plant medicine that opens the door to the spiritual world, from which the masters work with the powers of master plants.

ONI expands awareness and enables deep insights and experiences of all our levels of being.

Personalized treatment
During ONI ceremonies, the medicine family takes the entire group to a protected spiritual healing temple, from where they work individually and personally with the healing songs, the so-called Icaros.

Together and personal
ONI ceremonies always take place in the community and the maestras and maestros are present in the ceremonies as a whole family. The special thing about Shipibo healing work is that there are always several masters working together. Healing is seen as part of the community — no one is alone but is always supported and accompanied by a large family.

Taking ONI is absolutely voluntary
In principle, taking ONI is not necessary for your treatment. Whether or not you consume ONI in the ceremonies is discussed with you individually — this can also vary, at the rhythm of your personal process.

3 ONI cermonies per week
There are 3 ONI ceremonies per week. The ceremonies are an integral part of your Shipibo treatment, even if you do not take ONI medicine yourself.

ICARO healing songs

Everything is SOUND and has a sound pattern:
An ICARO is sound medicine that comes directly from the plants and trees themselves to reconnect us to the source of life.

The Shipibo masters work very precisely with the vibrational power of medicinal plant songs (Icaros), whose transformative power works right down to the core (DNA) of our being.

Every plant medicine is sung with an ICARO before it is used - because it is the ICAROS, the healing songs, that give the plants their orientation.

Flower & plant steam baths

The flower and plant steam baths are used to purify, clear, realign and protect.

In addition, the baths reconnect people with a deep sense of love, inner beauty and joy.

They are important tools for harmonizing the energy fields of body, mind and soul and are an integral part of healing in everyday life in the medical village.

Bone healing treatment

Bone healing treatment is a very special form of treatment in the Shipibo culture:

The bones carry our innermost experience — “The shock is in the bones”, they say.

The bones are our core, protection and stability of the body. Blood is formed in our bones (in our trunk), the force that nourishes our entire body, all organs.

If something is "wrong with our bones", then this has an impact on our entire organism and overall health.

In a bone healing treatment, the bone and blood system is rearranged through sensitive massages and energetic work. In this way, traumatic experiences from the core and surrounding tissue can be released and new vitality can be returned.

Plant wrap

Depending on treatment needs, plant wraps are used to treat specific diseases. The medicine is obtained directly from local trees, sung about and applied to the part of the body where it is needed.

Vomitivo

Cleansing is the top priority in Shipibo healing treatment at all levels.

There are various plants that are used very specifically to initiate physical as well as energetic vomiting.

This is a guided treatment to release deep-seated traumas from the entire system and brings about incredibly deep liberation and inner order.

Integration circles

Exchange, get to know — discover new things
In our daily integration circles, there is room for exchange, guided meditations and coaching.

We also open rooms where you can be able to learn about Shipibo culture:

For example talks about medicinal plants, about the origins of Shipibo healing songs (ICAROS), about the use of the sacred pipe...

Workshops to learn Shipibo crafts, prepare medicine, Shipibo dances...

... storytelling evenings...

The Shipibo culture is as diverse and colorful as the jungle itself — diving in and getting to know each other, and above all sharing, enables you to discover new ways of integration and to be part of a large family.

Individual conversations

During your treatment, you will be accompanied in silence and in conversations. The Maestros Curanderos help you to open up the spaces of your inner perceptions so that you can gain deep insights about yourself and life. There are phases where the maestros let the plants “speak” and accompany you in silence. Then there are very specific moments in which you will have personal conversations with your Maestro Curandero and your processes and experiences will be discussed.

Medicine Family

There for you

Maestro Curandero Inin Meni & the medicine family

Your healing treatment is led by Maestro Curandero Inin Meni and supported and accompanied by the medical family of over six maestras and maestros — each with their own specialization, all rooted in a healing tradition dating back thousands of years.

Curandero family

The core of the medical family is mother Kené Biri and her 4 sons, whose grandmothers and grandfathers in both lineages were powerful healers of their culture and passed on their deep-rooted healing knowledge and healing powers to their children. They all come from the lineage of the Shipibo Curanderos: They are masters of consciousness and have learned to penetrate various dimensions and to work within them. They have the highest position in their culture, as “senior doctors” not only for the well-being of the individual, but also for the balance of entire communities and ecosystems. In this way, the understanding of healing goes far beyond the individual person — healing always means working in the entire environment, at all levels.

All masters of the medical village are experienced doctors in traditional Shipibo healing culture and treat throughout the year, even outside the medical village in their own practice rooms, sometimes in close cooperation with local hospitals.

Together, the medicine family has a deep desire to let the ancient healing knowledge of their ancestors live on, to help and, above all, to pass it on to all interested people.

There for you

Zoe & Melanie

We are both active in therapy in Europe and have been students with our wonderful Shipibo medicine family for over 4 years.

It is our heartfelt wish for the ancient indigenous healing knowledge to be combined with the growing awareness of many people worldwide — so that we can all reconnect with the divine source within us, develop our full potential and bring the fullness of our being into the world.

Before your trip, we will accompany you in a personal introductory meeting, where we will discuss all your open questions with you.

In the medicine village, we support you in individual coaching sessions as well as in daily integration groups. We also translate the language as well as cultural and spiritual worldviews.

“We see it as our task to build bridges — between worlds, cultures and ways of healing. ”

Melanie is a body therapist and specializes in pain management, trauma healing & traditional Shipibo bone treatment. To study psychology, she studied various naturopathic treatment methods in Europe.

Zoe is a certified voice therapist and specializes in trauma healing. As a certified dancer and yoga teacher, she combines her love for body, voice and nature.
